Cook thoroughly. Cooking Directions: Directions were developed for 1100 watt and higher microwave ovens. Cooking in microwave oven below 1100 watts will require additional time to reach proper temperature. For best results, cook from frozen. Since cooking appliances vary, these directions are guidelines only. Microwave: 1. Place 2 cups (2 servings) frozen spinach in a covered microwave safe dish. 2. Add 2 tablespoons of water. Microwave on high for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. Season to taste and serve. Stove Top: 1. In a saucepan, place frozen spinach into 2 cups boiling water. 2. Gently stir until water returns to a boil. 3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 6 to 8 minutes or until tender. Season to taste and serve. Caution: Product will be hot. For Food Safety: Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not refreeze. Heat to 165 degrees F before use. Refrigerate leftovers. Perishable | Keep frozen.
