Basic Cooking Instructions: Bring water and salt to a boil. Slowly whisk in a cereal, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, whisking frequently for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes. Serving: 1; 1/4 cup cereal; 1 cup water; pinch salt. Serving: 2; 1/2 cup cereal; 1 1/2 cups water; 1/8 tsp salt. Serving: 3; 3/4 cup cereal; 2 1/4 cups water; 1/4 tsp salt. Serving: 4; 1 cup cereal; 3 cup water; 1/2 tsp salt. Microwave: combine 1/4 cup cereal, 1 cup water and a pinch of salt in a microwave safe bowl. Stir well. Microwave on high for 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until water is fully absorbed. Let stand for 2 minutes. Makes 1 serving. Slow Cooker: Combine 4 cups water, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 cup cereal in a slow cooker. Stir well. Cover and cook on low for 3 - 4 hours or high for 1 1/2 hours. Stir well and serve. Makes 4 servings. Store in a cool, dry place. Keeps best refrigerated on frozen after opening. Tear here to open
