Cooking Directions: For food safety, follow these cooking instructions. Cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. Since cooking appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only. Microwave: 1. Place frozen butternut squash in a microwave-safe dish. 2. Add 2 tablespoons water and cover. 3. Heat on high for 6-8 minutes. Stir halfway through. 4. Let stand for 1 minute. Microwave cooking times vary based on wattage. Above cooking is based on a 1000 watt microwave.
