Aromas of fresh Fuji apple, lemon curd, guava, white peach and creme fraiche highlight this well-balanced, full-bodied classically styled Chardonnay. A soft mouthfeel supports flavors of guava, pineapple, Braeburn apple, cloves, coconut and Bosc pear leading to lemony, balanced acidity and a long, creamy finish of mild toasted oak and creme brulee. The 2022 vintage received 90 pts from James Suckling in December 2023. At Napa Cellars, the Chardonnay grapes are carefully hand-picked, harvested and crushed. This Napa Valley Chardonnay dry white wine is fermented and aged in French oak barrels, 26% of which were new, and undergoes 97% malolactic fermentation and lees stirring for five months.
