Boil: Stovetop Directions: For 1 serving, mix 1 cup water, dash of salt (optional), 1/4 cup Cream of Rice. For 2 serving, mix 2 cups water, 1/2 tsp. of salt (optional), 1/2 cup Cream of Rice. For 4 serving, mix 4 cups water, 3/4 tsp. of salt (optional), 1 cup Cream of Rice. 1. Bring water and salt to a boil. 2. Gradually add Cream of Rice®, stirring constantly with wire whisk until well blended. 3. Return to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, 30 seconds or until thickened, stirring constantly. 4. Remove from heat; cover. Let stand 1 minute. Stir well before serving. Microwave: Microwave Directions: 1. Mix 1/4 cup Cream of Rice®, 1 cup cold water and a dash of salt (optional) in 2-cup microwaveable bowl or measuring cup. 2. Microwave on high 1 minute. Stir with wire whisk. Cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until thickened, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir again. Cool slightly. Caution: Bowl will be hot; carefully remove from microwave using pot holders. Note: Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. Overheating can cause cereal to boil over. Open.
